Air Force – Army – Navy
To be successful in the first stage of starting or changing your career within the NZ Defence Force you are required to pass an Assessment Day fitness test followed by an Induction Day fitness test.

Once you’ve joined the Air Force you will first need to pass an Operational Fitness Test which includes:
5km Weighted March (20kg) & Press Ups
