To be successful you will need to achieve a total of at least 11 points across all the tests with at least 1 point on each of the four tests.

Under 10.15 minutes: 4 points
10.15-11.15 minutes: 2 points
11.16-12.00 minutes: 0 points
Over 12.00 minutes: 0 points

MALE BODY MASS 19-30
Under 10.15 minutes: 5 points
10.15-11.15 minutes: 3 points
11.16-12.00 minutes: 0 points
Over 12.00 minutes: 0 points

MALE BODY MASS >30
Under 10.15 minutes: 6 points
10.15-11.15 minutes: 4 points
11.16-12.00 minutes: 2 points
Over 12.00 minutes: 0 points

FEMALE BODY MASS <19
Under 11.15 minutes: 4 points
11.15-12.15 minutes: 2 points
12.16-13.00 minutes: 0 points
Over 13.00 minutes: 0 points

FEMALE BODY MASS 19-30

For many people, running this distance in a short time can really be a challenge but it’s the way you train that makes the difference.

What stops you? Muscles or Breathing – Is it easy and then you hit the brick wall?


PRESS UPS

MALE
Number 34 and over: 3 points
Number 25-33: 2 points
Number under 25: 0 points

FEMALE
Number 20 and over: 3 points
Number 15-19: 2 points
Number under 15: 0 points

A main point here is to do a press up as required – you only need to go down until your elbows and shoulders are level, NOT until your chest touches the floor.

Different exercises are required to increase the number of Press Ups you do. Sure completing these regularly can help, but its not the best way.


GRIP STRENGTH

MALE
Force 120kg and over: 3 points
Force 105-119.9kg: 2 points
Force 90-104.9kg: 1 points
Force under 90kg: 0 points

FEMALE
Force 70kg and over: 3 points
Force 60-69.9kg: 2 points
Force 50-59.9kg: 1 points
Force under 50kg: 0 points

This includes training your forearm muscles.

Hand grips are a good item to purchase but many exercises help here.


VERTICAL JUMP

Jump 48cm and over: 3 points
Jump 40-47cm: 2 points
Jump 32-39cm: 1 points
Jump under 32cm: 0 points

FEMALE
Jump 40cm and over: 3 points
Jump 33-39cm: 2 points
Jump 26-32cm: 1 points
Jump under 26cm: 0 points
